Hi there! 

My name is Siyu Liu, also known as Lucy. 

Welcome to my blog!

I am a 21 year old aspiring fashion journalist based in NYC. I was born in Tianjin, China and moved to the big apple at the age of 10. This blog was created awhile ago but I have been restarting it over and over again trying to find a main aesthetic. But right now I'm here for good, and will be working on quality > quantity !

I am now a senior majoring in media/journalism at Hunter College. I've had my passions for writing and fashion for many years till I decided to combine both and pursue fashion journalism as a career.  So far, I've been featured on Seventeen, MTV , Girl's Life and American Eagle Outfitters' websites (Thanks to College Fashionista) and was able to attend NYFW for four seasons and publish weekly/monthly articles. I am deeply humbled and grateful for the opportunities so far on the journey of chasing the dream!

The name of this blog has been Hello Lucy. I know it's quite plain and simple, but I love the sound of someone saying hello to my name. Sometimes I feel like you don't hear that often now, between friends, coworkers, family. Hello, Lucy sounds just a little bit closer to my heart. 

I'll probably edit this about me a bunch of times.. but for now, I would like to say thank you for stopping by my blog, or even reading this. I hope to have you visit again!
